  1. Thank you for uploading the audio. It’s so nice to hear his voice!
But what happened the translation that was here earlier???
A lot of people all over the world would be disappointed when they find the translation disappeared…😦
Hope it’s o.k. for me to pitch in by posting another version of the recap translation here. ^ ^ (Please excuse me if there are errors as I’m not a native speaker of English or Korean. ^^;)

Private 2nd Class Choi DongWook said that the most memorable experience at the boot camp was a 30km long night marching because he had to carry an incredibly heavy backpack despite spite his chronic back pain, and marched upfront of the troops [as a trainee leader]. He added that he experienced the worst body ache ever in his entire life that he was almost unable to get up the next morning.

Also at the boot camp, he revealed that it was rather stressful because everybody around him, including his drill sergeants, was much younger than him. However, his company commander, who was the same age as him, gave him big comfort by keeps saying, “well, that’s possible” when PV2 CDW shared his stressful experiences about feeling offended by much-younger-than-himself sergeants. He explained that the commander’s advice helped him look at things from the other side, and in turn, it helped him go thorough the most difficult time. Therefore, he decided to make “That’s possible/That could be…” as his motto while he is in the army.

He cracked a military joke with the guys by introducing his song, Digital Bounce, as Digital Pants (As those two words sound alike in Korean and “pants” means/sounds like “underwear” of a loan word Korean.)

When a listener sent a message, saying that he seems to be acting a bit different from when he was on air at the morning show, he revealed that, after joining the army, somehow it became uncomfortable to be with [a woman] one on one, and laughed.

He answered in the following questions:

The person whom he trusts most in his company: Jung JiHoon(Rain) because they’ve been friends since high school days. However, in the army, he recognizes that Staff Sergeant(?) JJH is the head of the company and PV2 CDW needs to act accordingly.

The food he wants to eat most now: meat—chicken, red meat and sushi because serving size of main dish at the mess hall is fixed and not much.

His senior ranking soldier who looks best in the uniform: JJH because he has big shoulder. He saw JJH’s picture taken at the airport when he when overseas the other day.

  2. Sorry, I made a mistake in the translation above.
Wrong version: “When a listener sent a message, saying that he seems to be acting a bit different from when he was on air at the morning show, he revealed that, after joining the army, somehow it became uncomfortable to be with [a woman] one on one, and laughed. ”

Correct version: “When a listener sent a message, saying that he seems to be acting a bit uptight compared to how he was on air at the morning show, he joked by saying, after joining the army, persons like [his closest] senior soldiers(i.e. Lee SukHoon, the DJ) are such uncomfortable existence, and laughed.”

Could you correct that for me, please? Thank you.

    • What happened to my comment (the translation of the radio program) that I posted in May??? It was there before, I saw it! Also, the original brief translation by Cecilia (or someone) disappeared even earlier, didn’t it? (That’s why I posted my version.) What happened to them???
Anyway, here is my translation originally posted sometime before 5/28/13:

The show was ended with his manly salute. ^ ^
